“I’m gonna try something.” Janet suddenly declared. Their latest experiment with the stickers had Melissa’s eyes stuck to the back of her hands. So trying anything new at this point didn’t really surprise Melissa.

“Not like you to actually say it out loud.”

“Yeah, well. I’m gonna try to turn my whole hand into a sticker!” Janet grabbed a whole sheet of sticker paper.

“Wait, how would that work? Your hand isn’t… flat?”

“True. But maybe if I just sort of…”Janet pushed her hand flat onto the paper. She frowned a little, then pushed harder.

“Um… I don’t think that’s -”

“No, it’s working!” Janet exclaimed in glee, as her hand seemed to sink into the paper, much to the two girls’ amazement. Janet’s left hand up to her wrist had seemed to be consumed by the sticker. On it was now an image of her hand, mole on her knuckle and all.

“Oh, wow. That’s weird as hell. Can you feel your hand?”

“Nope… it’s like it’s gone. Just a picture on a sticker now.” Janet frowned. She attempted to pull her hand out of the sticker, but wound up with a stump of a wrist, and her hand still a picture on the sticker. “Well… huh.” Janet stared at the place her hand used to be, then at the sticker.

“That worked, I guess. But how do we get your hand out?”

Janet picked up the paper. “Whoah. It feels heavy. Maybe if I…” Janet shook the piece of paper upside down and suddenly, her hand dropped out of it. “Aha!”

“Oh, good. Can you feel it again?”

“Yup!” Janet said, as her hand scrambled around on the floor. “Hey, there’s a hole in the sheet where my hand was.”

“That makes sense I guess.” Melissa noted, staring through the hand shaped hole, “It’d be kind of crazy if we could use the stickers infinitely.”

“Yeah.” Janet laughed, picking up her disembodied hand. “Here, hold onto this.”

Melissa accepted Janet’s hand as she grinned. “Er, why?”

“Mostly so I could say I handed you my hand.” Janet broke out into a fit of laughter at her own bad wordplay, while Melissa groaned.

“But also, so I could take off my head.” Janet grabbed another sheet of paper.

“You don’t half-ass things, do you?” Melissa mused, poking at Janet’s hand. It flinched, and poked her back.

“Nope! If you’re gonna do it weird, you gotta do it all the way.” Janet dropped the sticker paper over her head, and then started pushing down on it.

Melissa watched in awe as the paper slowly consumed her friends’ head. Once it had reached the neck, Janet stopped pressing on it, and whipped off the piece of paper, leaving her effectively headless. She handed the paper to Melissa, who accepted in gingerly.

On it, was a perfect image of Janet’s head, sans nose. “I could just leave your head in there, and have a totally peaceful rest of the day.” Melissa said aloud to herself. She wasn’t sure if Janet could hear or not. The image didn’t respond either way.

“Ah well. But then I’d be kind of bored.” Melissa shrugged, and shook the paper over the couch. Janet’s head plopped right out.

“Heh. I knew you wouldn’t leave me hanging.” Janet’s head laughed from the couch.

“You could hear me in there?” Melissa asked, surprised.

“Yeah, sorta. I could also kinda see. It was strange though. Like everything was blurry and flat.”

“I guess that’s not surprising.” Melissa picked up her friend’s head. “So now what?”

“Now… hand me my head, would you?” Janet said, as she tapped Melissa on the shoulder from behind.

“Yipes. It’s weird having you in two places at once.” Melissa turned around to face Janet’s body, and deposited her head in her remaining hand.

“Well, I’d rather be in one piece anyway.” Janet said, as she stuck her head to her blank wrist, where it held fast.

Melissa stared for a moment, as Janet waved her head at her place of her hand.

“Um.”

“What do you think?” Janet laughed.

“That’s… interesting.”

Janet picked up her disembodied hand and stuck it on her neck. It gave a thumbs up.

“You are so damn weird.” Melissa shook her head.

“You’re one to talk, Ms. Eyes-on-her-Hands.” Janet stuck her tongue out at her.

“Okay, fine. Maybe we’re both weird at the moment.” Melissa conceded, “Though I’m only weird because of you!”

“Hey, that’s alright with me.” Janet laughed. She put her hands on her hips. Well, her hand, and her head. “You should try this!”

“Maybe later.” Melissa laughed. “I have another idea for now.” She grabbed a sheet of paper.

“Oh?”

“What if we copy the paper while we have parts inside it?” Melissa wondered. She set the sticker paper on the table, and peeled her mouth off. She stuck it to the paper, then pushed it in, watching as it slowly became an image. Satisfied, Melissa grabbed the paper with her mouth in it and headed over to their study, and their copier. She quickly printed out a copy of the sticker paper, only to find it was simply an image, and no amount of shaking would remove the duplicate mouth from the printed paper.

“What if you printed it onto more sticker paper?” Janet suggested.

Melissa snapped her fingers. Duh, of course that was the problem. She grabbed another sheet of sticker paper and loaded it into the printer, and repeated the process. This time, as she pulled the sticker paper from the printer, she shook it, and her mouth fell out.

“Success!” Melissa yelled out, as she shook out her original mouth from the paper. She picked up her two mouths, and started talking alternatingly from them both. She stuck them to her face, one under the other.

“So we can make copies of our parts? That’s so awesome!” Janet cheered. “Just think, we could have like, four arms!”

“Or four boobs.” Melissa giggled, blushing a little.

Janet’s eyes widened. “Oh, man. We totally could.”

“What. I was joking!” Melissa stammered.

Janet laughed, “I know, I know. You should’ve seen your face though.”

“I wonder if we could make a complete copy of ourselves?” Melissa wondered.

“Can you fit completely into one sheet of paper?” Janet asked.

“I uh… I guess we’d just have to try it.” Melissa stammered. “You want to or…”

“You do it, it was your idea.” Janet grinned.

“I didn’t think we’d… oh, hell, why not. It’s just a little nerve-wracking because it means I’m leaving myself totally up to your control.” Melissa glanced away.

“Would I ever do anything to you?” Janet asked, with a hurt look.

“…yes.” Melissa replied flatly.

“Okay, fine, but anything with lasting harm? Intentionally?”

“I guess not. Alright. Let’s do this before I lose my nerve.” Melissa said. “Oh wait, let me put my face back to normal.” She peeled her eyes off her hands and stuck them where they belonged, and peeled off her extra mouth, turned it backwards, and melded it into smooth skin on her arm.

“Here’s the paper.” Janet said, dropping it on the floor before Melissa.

Melissa gulped nervously, and stepped a foot onto the paper. It sank in slightly. She brought her other foot to stand on the paper, and found herself slowly sinking, as she lost feeling in the parts of her feet that were already in the paper.

“You’re going too slowly.” Janet noted, and walked up to Melissa.

“I don’t think we should rush it…” Melissa warned.

Of course, Janet took no heed, and grabbed Melissa by the shoulders. “Bye bye!” Janet laughed, and shoved down hard.

“Nooo!” Melissa screamed, as she began to be rapidly consumed by the sticker paper. Her legs quickly vanished, as she lost all feeling in them, followed by her hips, her chest and arms. Janet had left her as a head sticking out of the paper.

“Oh, god. That was terrifying! Don’t do that!” Melissa shouted.

“Sorry, sorry.” Janet laughed, “Didn’t think it’d actually be that fast. Shall I push the rest of you in?”

“Actually, don’t. Peel my head off. I don’t want to deal with a second head. Just copy my body.” Melissa said.

“Not a bad idea.” Janet said, popping Melissa’s head off the sticker paper. She set it on the computer desk as she retrieved the paper containing Melissa’s body.

Melissa was having a hard time dealing with the fact that her entire body was somehow within that sheet of paper. She could see the image of it… at least, her shoulders, as if from above. “This is strange, just being a head.” Melissa laughed nervously.

“What if I just… tore up the paper?” Janet grinned.

“Oh god, you wouldn’t.” Melissa’s eyes widened in fear.

“Of course not. Don’t be silly.” Janet laughed, “Besides I’m sure your body would come out still. Just in pieces.”

“True. Make with the copying!” Melissa ordered.

“Right-o.”

A few moments later, Janet was holding two copies of sticker paper containing Melissa’s body. She shook one out, and Melissa’s headless body unceremoniously came tumbling out all at once, landing in a heap on the floor.

“Ouch!” Melissa winced, “Gentler with the other one please?” she stood her body up.

“Here it comes.” Janet shook out the other piece of paper, this time closer to the floor. The other copy of Melissa came tumbling out of the paper.

It also stood up. Melissa looked the two bodies over.

“So… you’re controlling them both, right?” Janet asked.

“Yeah… it’s weird though… not hard, just… gonna take some time getting used to.” Melissa frowned at her two bodies. She walked them around the room separately, and one of them came over and picked up her head. “This is super freaky.”
